Andy P.  Miller

Supervising Attorney

As Supervising Attorney of the Boston-North Shore region, Attorney Miller is very much a "hands on" leader with a "can-do" attitude.  When he and his team are in the courtroom, they make split-second decisions when the need arises.

The cases when you’ll want Attorney Miller on your side are when you have a spouse who has retained an aggressive, contentious, and intimidating lawyer to make matters difficult.  That’s when you need a lawyer with a clear head and an excellent strategy the most.

Andy represents just as many men as he does women, but he claims his top priority is advocating for the best interest of children.  On any given day, clients hear from Andy how children aren’t weapons to be used between divorcing spouses during a divorce. "We don’t hold title in children as we do in real estate," Attorney Miller preaches.  It’s surprising how often people forget that the courts will always keep the child’s interests first, no matter how much the parents argue about who is a better provider.

Along with Attorney Miller, each of the attorneys from our Firm are committed to giving you the tools you need to build a winning game plan and strategy no matter what the contested issues are in your specific case.  By putting the resources of our "Divorce Brain Trust" together, all nine attorneys work together as a litigation team, using the strengths of each in a way most beneficial to our clients.  One attorney may take depositions.  Another may head the Discovery SWAT Team.  We believe that this not only works in our clients’ best interests, but also gives them “the most bang for the buck” in any of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts.

Our Firm has more trial experience than similarly situated firms in the area.  With 80% of his time devoted to divorce and family law litigation, Boston divorce attorney Miller knows his way around the Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, and Norfolk courts, and he has the experience before almost every judge aggressively representing his clients in any type of court hearing.  Less experienced lawyers can’t stand up to the pressures of tough litigation.  That’s where Attorney Miller shines.  We’ve heard from former clients that when their spouse hears Andy Miller and The Massachusetts Family Law Group have been retained to represent their spouse, their tone changes, he or she knows that our client is serious, and in many cases we are quickly viewed as the team with better odds in the courtroom.
